I'm a pet portrait, equine and British wildlife artist based in Oxford. I work with coloured pencil and pastel, using artist quality lightfast pencils and acid-free, archival paper.
I grew up in rural Perthshire, Scotland, and have always drawn inspiration from the wildlife that surrounds me. I began painting pets and Scottish wildfowl and, following a school exhibition, I received my first pet portrait commission and have been creating them ever since! Since then, my style has grown and evolved. I have created bespoke brand-work for the National Trust for Scotland, bespoke artwork for All Souls College, Oxford, and last year I was selected to be the Artist in Action at the Scottish Game Fair, Scone Palace.
I am now working on a collection of British wildlife art and I hope that this new body of work will encourage others to cherish and protect our wildlife.
